My fitness journey began at a young age, even as a child I always enjoyed sports and athletics so it seemed like a natural progression in 1992 to volunteer at the local gym.
I really enjoyed the gym setting and working out, and my volunteer work earned me a free gym membership where I spent most of my free time focusing on my personal fitness goals.
A couple years later that experience helped me find my passion in fitness which led me to a fulltime professional career as a personal trainer. Some of my professional training and certifications include: Personal Trainer, Fitness Leadership, Strength Training and Muscular Endurance, Technical Weight Lifting, Nutrition and Wellness Specialist, Older Adult Fitness Specialist, and Kickboxing. |

I have successfully led hundreds of clients through workouts tailored to meet their goals and have created some great friends along the way. The best part of my job is meeting the clients, and experiencing the joy with them as they meet and exceed their personal fitness goals. I truly love my job, and even after all these years, I still experience the same joy I did when I first started training clients.
As a bootcamp instructor, the draw for me was the challenge of training a group in a new setting where we were outdoors instead of a gym, using body resistance with little or no equipment, and always trying new drills, and mixing it up each week to keep everyone motivated and challenged. It still inspires me to watch as each week the participants continue to change and progress. The bootcamp experience creates a real team spirit and camaraderie.
Not only am I there to motivate each of the participants, but they too form friendships, bonds, and encourage each other just as much.
